What is the partnership?
The Dunblane Likhubula Partnership joins the community of Dunblane in Scotland with the community of Likhubula, a rural community in the Mulanje district of Malawi.
What does the partnership do?
Since June 2005 we have directly supported projects focusing on clean water supplies, agriculture, and education, as well as maintaining frienship links between the two communities.
How can I HELP?
YOU CAN HELP BY DONATING WHATEVER YOU CAN AFFORD THROUGH JUST GIVING.
Here are some examples of how your donation could support the Likhubula Community:
Pays for fertiliser for a family for a year to increase their maize yield.
Pays for a bursary for a young person to attend secondary school for a year
and buys them stationery, a rain jacket, rucksack, solar torch, uniform, access to books and food for them and their family.
Pays for a bursary and subsistence for a young adult in tertiary education.
